Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly earning double that of Neymar as Saudi Pro League’s top 10 salaries have been revealed ahead of the 2024-25 season.

  • Ronaldo is the leading earner of the SPL
  • He is followed by Neymar & Karim Benzema
  • A massive difference between wages

Ronaldo’s move to Al Nassr in January 2023 marked a significant moment in the history of the Saudi Pro League as the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star’s transition to the Middle East was the beginning of a wave of high-profile signings. Although the Portuguese has failed to inspire Al-Nassr to a league championship in two attempts, his 50-goal return in the 2023-24 campaign shows that every buck spent on him is worth the money – without even factoring in the magnetic commercial pull of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

According to Capology, Ronaldo is the highest-paid player in the Saudi Pro League, earning a staggering €200 million annually. This is double that of the league’s next highest earners, Neymar and Karim Benzema who earn €100 million each. The star triumvirate is followed by former Manchester City player Riyad Mahrez at €52.5 million.
